About
My name is Frank van Zoggel and I am from The Netherlands. Kiteboarding is something special which gives joy to my life. I passed my Instructor Training Course (ITC) in may 2009 and have been teaching ever since.
My first experience with this sport felt so good that I knew I wanted more. I graduated Sports Management, Leisure and Outdoor with 2 majors; PADI Dive Instructor and IKO Kiteboard Instructor.
Villa Vedici is a resort which is based on a business plan that I set up. At that time I didn’t know that I would immigrate to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
So here I am, not leaving this spot ever again!

Beginner kitesurfing lesson
As a complete beginner, I couldn’t have asked for a better setup. The lessons were held in calm, shallow water, which really helped me feel safe and confident. The instructor was patient, clear, and very encouraging—he adjusted the pace to suit my progress and explained everything in a way that made sense. Communication was smooth thanks to the headset system they use, so even when I was out on the water, I never felt alone. Kite Rental done, super fine, good and well cared for stuff. Nice contact with owner and instructor, very willing to think along and help. I was still a beginner so it was quite exciting to go out on the water alone, despite the other two instructors being teaching, they were constantly watching me and giving me tips! Really a super place to kite, but also to learn it here. No other in the water, no waves, you can stand a long stretch and good wind! Really perfect! Had a great day!

Excellent kitesurf school & spot
Awesome spot and school for kitesurfing in Cambodia!! There is loads of space, flat and shallow water so perfect conditions. I took a couple lessons and learned a lot - both super instructions and fun with Christian. So thanks guys & 10/10 would recommend!

Enjoy the unpredictable wind
I had a really good time here. The instructor was really competent and was able to adapt according to our needs and to the wind, which was not predictable a all. The place for kitesurfing is remote and peacefuls:) thank you! Enjoy your time here!

Top experience with this Kite school
Top experience with this Kite school.Kiting at the beginning of the wind season is always a challenge, because sometimes the wind is just not strong enough and gusty. But what a great spot to do this! The area is vast and stays shallow up to hundreds of metres, which makes it really ideal for kiters of any level, whether you are just starting out or are already advanced. Material and guidance were also excellent. Because I didn't have to take lessons, I could just rent equipment, and that was perfectly arranged. They work with new and well-maintained material; I even got the chance to try out the latest model of the Edge V12, which was a great experience. I also tried a larger board which was a must for the light wind conditions.In addition, I got in touch with a new kite instructor, Chris. A very friendly and relaxed guest who clearly has a lot of experience. Although I hadn’t booked a class, he spontaneously gave me a few valuable tips that immediately improved my technique. It's those little things that make the difference and show how involved they are with their kiters. In short, an absolute must for anyone who wants to learn to kite or improve their skills! I will definitely be back here again.

Amazing 2 days
I had never kite before and I wanted to try, at first I was a little bit scared but Frank reassured me. He stood behind me until he know I could do it on my own. Frank helped me super good and I was loving the experience. The second time I went with Carlo and that was also very good, he thought me body draining, I also was a bit scared, but he reassured me that I could do it. They were always positive and helping at all time. it were an amazing 2 days!

Good lessons, I have learned a lot. Frank & Carlo are both very patient, that’s nice because when it’s not going really great they will help you without any negativity. They’re both very nice and helpful and they’ll teach you good tips and tricks.
